I took this photo at Grotte di Catullo in Sirmione this summer. The name is slightly misleading, as this is not a grotto (it used to be a villa instead), nor is it the place where the Roman poet Catullo lived (the villa was built after the poet’s death, though he visited the city several times). Nonetheless it’s an interesting compound. I hope you enjoy the view and maybe if we all count 1 -2-3 #summer will be here for us right away, right?
